Terms and conditions

Last updated: September 21, 2026

Agreement

These Terms govern your use of BrummBrumm.app. By using the game, you agree to them. When you create or access an account, you must actively confirm that you agree to the current Terms and acknowledge the Privacy policy and Cookie policy. If you cannot agree, you may not use an account or the online service.

Who may use the service

You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you may use an account only with that permission. You are responsible for anyone who uses the service through your device or sign-in link.

Licence to play

The operator gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the game for lawful, non-commercial play. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the game, its code, art, audio, branding, or other content.

Accounts

Accounts are optional and guest play remains available. You must provide an email address or supported provider account you are allowed to use. Keep magic links and provider access secure. Racer names are public and must not impersonate another person, reveal someone else's personal information, or contain unlawful or abusive material. You can delete your account from the account page.

Online play and conduct

Do not attack, overload, probe, scrape, reverse engineer for abuse, or interfere with the site or game server. Do not evade rate limits, disrupt a lobby, harass players, guess private lobby passwords, or use automation to create accounts or traffic. Do not upload or transmit malware, unlawful material, or content that violates another person's rights.

Names and lobby information

You keep any rights you have in a racer or lobby name you submit. You give the operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, transmit, moderate, and remove it as needed to run and protect the game. Lobby names, lobby codes, lock status, capacity, and phase may appear in the public lobby directory while the lobby exists.

Results and leaderboards

Do not fabricate runs, alter the client to submit false results, or exploit defects to gain a leaderboard position. The operator may verify results, correct or remove invalid records, reset boards, restrict an account, or block a connection when reasonably needed to protect players and the service. Leaderboard and achievement features may change as game balance changes.

Third-party services

The service relies on Vercel, Supabase, Railway, Google Fonts, and, when configured or selected, Cloudflare, Apple, and Discord. Their own terms and policies apply to their services. The operator is not responsible for a third-party service's independent conduct, outage, or account decision.

Availability and changes

The operator may update, suspend, or discontinue game modes, accounts, online play, or the service. We may update these Terms and will change the date above. Material changes that affect account holders will use a proportionate in-app notice or a new acceptance request. Using the service after the effective date means the updated Terms apply, except where local law requires another form of consent.

Suspension and termination

The operator may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk, legal requirement, or conduct that harms the service or other players. Where reasonable, we will consider the severity and give notice. You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account from the account page.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law permits, the operator does not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free play, permanent storage of results, or compatibility with every browser, device, controller, or network. Nothing in these Terms limits a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.

Liability

To the extent the law permits, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost opportunity, or interruption arising from the free service. This does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that local law does not allow the operator to exclude. Mandatory consumer protections where you live still apply.

General terms

If a court finds one part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your agreement without the operator's permission; the operator may transfer it as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law.
